Kennel "Sheradin's Star" was officially founded in 2010 but it seems to me that love towards dogs has been with me since childhood.
I'm a veterinarian - dogs are my passion and a colourful addition to life. For me, breeding is first and foremost a pleasure, not a job. Each puppy has his own story and is unique in his own little way. I always strive towards beautiful, healthy setters, but the most important quality I look towards is their character - friendly, brave, always cheerful.
Our dogs live in the countryside house, free to run around and spend time in the large garden with a pond. There, they are dirty, and definitely not trimmed - but boy, aren't they happy! They can also turn into elegant companions - they often go to work with me and are our real friends in every situation!

My first long awaited dog was stubborn beagle - Jukon (JUKON z Rydzyńskiego Lasu) when I was about 8 years old. A bit later, another beagle-boy Snoopy (DARES znad Pichny) who was my great friend. Together with my beagles, I started my beautiful adventure with cynology, shows, dog sports...
With beagles by my side, I visited a large part of Europe, won our first cups, met my first dogs-friends, and went through first steps in agility competitions. Together we participated in Junior Handler competition where I've learned a lot about handling, and breeding... Snoopy became a Champion of 6 countries and myself - a multiple Junior Handling winner, World Dog Show JH finalist... This was a beautiful part of my life, big thanks to all breeders who helped me to make my first steps then.

Shortly after I've met absolutely wonderful people from a "fellow planet" - owners and breeders of irish setters. That's where it started for me with the setters, that's where I've learned and started to love this breed. Although theirs were irish, I always was inspired the most by those white one with dots... english setters! I spent a lot of time watching photos, reading through different pedigrees...
I was saving money and have taken my sweet time looking for my own setter. I finally found it in the USA! My first ever english setter was beautiful blue-belton girl Nadia (Set'r Ridge SENSATIONAL TIME.) It was by far the smartest dog I've ever had! Every moment with her - spent on fun and games, or work - was amazing. We understood each other without words. Bad luck and a terrible accident was the reason for which she was with us for only 1.5 years...

Nobody replaced Nadia, but after a few years, one photo and an impulse caused a little orange puppy to appear in my house in 2010. It was Lilou (Fairray JETSET), from Italy. She was orange, crazy and naughty - the total opposite of Nadia! But that's what made her unique.
At this point, I want to say thank you to the breeders of both Nadia and Lilou - Melissa Newman and Hans Sleegers. Without you and your trust, my adventure with setters wouldn't even start!

Lilou grew up to a beautiful and healthy lady and she gave her first Sheradin's Star litter in December 2013. I will never forget this snowy day. With us stayed two blue-belton daughters - Hannah (Sheradin's Star BLUE CURACAO) and Rita (Sheradin's Star BLACK VELVET FOR ARISLAND) (co-owning with my dear friend from Arisland kennel). They are absolutely wonderful and together with us they help continue this story...
